For any of you who’s Russians lay multiple clutches a year, how many clutches on average do you get out of a female per season and how long after a clutch do they typically lay the next clutch? I’ve had 3 females lay so far this year with one being about 4 weeks ago. This week she lost 70 grams so I’m assuming she laid again but I can’t find the eggs for the life me. Does a 4 week turn around seem pretty fast or would that be pretty standard? A large enclosure is always enjoyable for watching the animals explore but it makes finding nests an absolute pain. I suspect I may have up to 3 nests in the enclosure I can’t find and it sure does annoy me badly. Anyway do you think she laid a second clutch? Just wanted some opinions before I kept searching In this killer heat. Thanks!
