I'd like to put some moss into my tortoise table but just wanted to check here first that it's okay to do so? I have Horsefields.
And if so where should I place it? Near their basking light or in their hides?

Please let me know any advantages or disadvantages there might be to having moss in their table!

If you are going to use moss, I would use scissors and cut it into smaller, less stringy pieces. Torts have a way of eating/tasting everything and if the pieces are well, not so long--when the tort eats them it will come out alot easier....:D

You can place some in a couple spots...perhaps some in a warm spot can be wet a little bit to offer some humidity and perhaps some in a cooler spot left dry simply for the hiding fun???
