More Franklin

He grew like crazy this summer. A huge jump from when I got him.
I'm starting to think he's a lady also. I'll have to get some anal acute pics and ask what y'all think. Also, how does his pyramiding look? He had it a little when I got him, I've been doing as much as possible to prevent it any further, so I think what's showing now is left from before.

Franklin looks very nice. You have done a great job stopping the pyramiding and growing his shell in smooth. From this point it should continue to grow smooth.

Thanks for all the compliments on Franklin. He's 9.5" when I measure the bottom of his shell and weights 6.2 lbs. he's gained 2 lbs in the past 2 months even though its winter! Also, I'm pretty sure he's a she so I'm going to start calling her Frankie, I guess. I'll post some pics of the anal scutes sometime and see what you all think.
