Mermaids comb?

An sulcatas eat mermaids comb? It was very soft and seems like it would be very easy for him to chew? Could I feed him this or is toxic?

Just wanted you to know, I am not ignoring your thread. I simply have never saw this plant before, but it does look like it would be a safe one. As I said though, I have zero knowledge on this one.

Oh no worries. I have never seen it myself and just figured no one else had heard of it. It was in the cactus section at OSH. I'm trying to find some cactuses and plants I could get him before I start planting my own.

Any suggestions on common ones they sell in California that I could start with?
