So our Sulcata, Morla, got a new sibling yesterday. Meet Ivan our new Russian Tort. Check out the relaxing soak!

Hi Brian:

I hope you were just joking when you mentioned that the new Russian was your sulcata's sibling. You do know that species should not be mixed, right?

Yes I was totally, separate enclosures and outdoor runs. Just a figure of speech if you will...

This looks like the same outdoor enclosure your sulcata uses - did you make a second one?

Your hatchling sulcata shouldn't be allowed access to a pen you've had a wild caught Russian in, even if they're not out in it at the same time. Russians are known for carrying a bunch of nasty things you wouldn't want your hatchling exposed to.

Edit: Ah good, just saw your post above.

Yes everything is separate, made a second run this morning a few feet away from the other one.

He's so cute! :D GOD bless.

I'd rather use a bowl that is not transparent, as torts would keep trying to get out.;)
