I took in Clyde from a friend who was moving. She only had Clyde a few months, but the person she got him from kept him in a glass tank for years.

Clyde is going to the vet to get his beak fixed, but he's got a lot of issues; pyramiding, dry skin, thick dead skin build up, shell deformity, etc. On the good side he's active and eating and pooping normal and his eyes are bright and clear.

Hope I can help this poor guy.

He doesn't look too bad. Maybe a little short-coupled, but that might just be the camera angle. I'm sure he'll do very well under your care. Now lets hope Lilo and Siggy are female and you'll have just the right mix.

Got another egg a few days ago, and it looks viable.

As for Clyde he's going to be in quarantine until summer, then he'll get a chance to meet the ladies.

Clyde is lucky that you rescued him and now will have the proper care.
