Meet Baby & Bruno

I found your forum while surfing for web sites on edible flowers for Russian Torts.

Baby (female) has been with me for over 2 years & Bruno (male) for a year now.

My future plans is to build a tortoise table to house them both, maybe.

I've tried introducing them a couple of times but Baby doesn't seem to be interested in Bruno.

However I am in the process of building an outside tortoise pen for them both. It's large enough for them to wander and be away from each other if they choose.

Here's a photo of Baby & Bruno.

Baby is on the left and Bruno on the right.

They both have separate homes and the photo was taken during one of the times I introduced Bruno to Baby.

question to anyone who knows. I have just acquired a Russian male from a lady and he has almost the same spacing on his top shell as Bruno does. I have not seen that before. I have seen the "new growth" around the bottom but not on top of the shell. Is that also new growth?
