HI guys i have a ''cherry head'' that is about 5to6 inches big i think it's a female because of the shape of the end of the plastron that looks like a letter U and because of the chubby tail ,what do u guys think ???

You'll have to post a picture for even a guess. And sadly, as I always say, there are 3 ways to tell sex for sure: getting flashed, laying eggs, or endoscoping. You will think something is a female at 10 inches and it will flash you...Its very hard to sex them accurately. Everyone can give you "guesstimates" or educated guesses, but the chances of being right or wrong are about the same really.
this is the picyou are totally right , i recently found out that the tortoise i thought was a female is a male now im going to have to wait for this one to grow a little more or like u said until it lays eggsRedfootsRule said:
