I'm going to disagree here. The horny pin on a Hermann's tail doesn't make it male.

Sorry, SCL means straight carapace length, the overall length of your tortoises shell. I thought from your picture that your tortoise looked a little on the smaller side, which is why I guessed it was an immature male.
