breeding native turtles in ohio is an undertaking , if you can get by the 4" rule and have a commercial permit you'd probably do ok , if not , all the turtles you sell will need pit tagged , unless you do it yourself you'll be spending more on the turtles you sell than you could get for selling them .......... you can't release them , at least your not supposed to .......... you could use large mesh in the enclosure and hope the hatchling's escape , although i doubt thats technically legal either ............
I have a male eastern boxie but it's illegal for me to sell. Only way I could ship them away is if you were T.S.A (turtle survival alliance) or another group.
