Looking to adopt

Hello, I live in The bay area and i have been keeping reptiles for almost 20 years. Im interested in adopting a tortoise. I have a nice sized back yard and my garage is heated for colder nice. ( my garage is my reptile room)
Anyone with information on adopting tortoises in Northern California please let me know.
