Looking to adopt/purchase!

Hello all! I am a new user here from California, around the Sacramento area.

I am looking to adopt or purchase, preferably adopt, a tortoise to have as my personal 'therapy animal'. I suffer from several disorders, none of which are physical, and my therapist has suggested that I adopt a pet to bond with something and work through some of my disorders.

Does anyone have any for adoption or for sale for a reasonable price?

I would be extremely grateful! I have been doing research for some time now and am open to any type! I have already prepared an area outside that is safe and have begun preparing an indoor habitat if needed!

Welcome if you are looking to adopt you can contact the California Turtle and Tortoise club, since you are in Sacramento there should be a chapter near you.
