Hi everyone! I haven't been on in a bit (finally got a job!) but Rascal is still as rascally as ever and growing like a weed it seems. We made him a new table yesterday that hopefully he can stay in for about a year. :) Enjoy the pics! (taken with busted phone so bare with me lol)

Pic of the whole thing:

New Hide....made from wire basket and moss sheets from the craft store. Holds moisture really well and the heat lamp creates humidity as well.

Smaller hide on the cool side:

New water dish:

A walk through to the digging corner with another small hide (fave one but quickly getting too small):

Rascal by his food dish, which doesn't seem to hold enough food for him anymore! :)

Hey, Shannon:

Good to see you back! I love the light stand. Very nice habitat for your little Rascal!

What a great enclosure!! I love all the hides and how comfortable and secure it looks. I think my Russian's enclosure is too "open"...I'll have to borrow some of your ideas :)
Great to see you (and Rascal!) back!

Very cool! I bet a slate tile would be great for the food because torts love space to push it around and having no lip to climb. I have the same water dish. :) My tort is just over 4 inches now and has just about outgrown the largest one. :( What about a MVB?

Thanks everyone! We love it. I know it's not the most natural habitat for a DT but b/c it's indoors I really wanted it to match the decor of the house lol. We will be house searching hopefully within the year and he will have his very own yard to run around. :) And no MVB b/c I had already bought these bulbs before finding this site and really don't wanna waste them lol.....when it's time to replace I will be switching. :)

Hello and welcome back. I love your set-up. That is the wettest desert tort set-up I've seen. Looks perfect to me.

Thanks Tom! We spray it down 2-3 times a day to keep up the moisture and humidity. :)

Rascal is throwing a fit right now and hasn't left his hide in 2 days now but he tends to do that when he gets a new home. :)
