live plants in the enclosure

Hello,

I want to put a spider plant in my enclosure and I was wondering how to go about making sure that it hasn't been treated or fertilized. Do you wash it? Do you take all the dirt out from around its roots and replace it with organic? I will probably leave it in a heavy pot for now.

Where did you get it? The only way you can be sure it is safe is if it is USDA Certified organic. If you got it from a non organic nursery it will be full of chemicals to make it pretty.

i would re pot it and let it grow out a bit. I have one in my russian pen.. its growing wild..
