We had our lil guy out for a couple hours on sunday and he was walking all over our back yard.We have a very large backyard. My three year old son picked him up to bring him back to the safe part of our grass, and acidently droped him on the top of his back. It was not a far drop maybe a foot. My son has picked him up a thousand times before and never droped him. And now he is acting kinda funny. Could he have been hurt from being droped? Or just really tired from all the excitment from having a huge place to roam and explore? He is not acting like he is in any pain, just not as active as normal. We love his alot so just thought the amazing people on here could give a little advise.

A foot drop for a tortoise while terrifying I am sure, should not really result in any actual damage. There is always a possibility of internal damage but it is unlikely.
