Lettuce can be a part of a varied diet....also, if you are going to offer lettuce you can offer romaine, red leaf, green leaf and rotate them out ---also make sure that the lettuce is not the only item they get....

This link gives you a little variety of lettuce(s).....kales, cabbages and spinach should be given sparingly...they can have an adverse long term health prob for a tort...

We are pig out today to get more supplies for my baby tortoise! I have come to the conclusion that I need to take better care of him. He has a bit of pyramiding and I need to get more supplies. I'm getting some thermometers and a humidifier spray bottle. I'm trying to take Toms tips and actually do them! Thanks for all your help!

Good job following Tom's tips. You do that and he will be one happy tortoise. :)
