Hello, am trying to feed my leopards hay but there not having any of it, am based in the uk so was wondering does anybody have any advice? Also is Mazuri exotic leaf eater ok on eBay uk?

We would have to see the ingredients for that particular mazuri. The hay on the other hand should be mixed in with things they like then slowly take the stuff they like out until there is only hay. That’s how most people do it. My torterra just got to the point where she eats straight hay and she’s over a year old.IMG_2661.jpg

A tortoise in the wild does not preferentially eat dead grass over live grass, they get familiar with it over several unintended ingestions while they eat the live grass. So like in the wild, the transition works when small amount are offered mixed in with the current diet. Like the few blades of dead grass among all the living blades.

This seems to be true with many novelty items that appear on the food plate, slow easy transition.
