Thank you, the two smaller ones are going on three(gregs hatchlings) and the two bigger ones are four, though hard to tell size difference in photos.

Thanks, its only about 5" thick coated on top and bottom with bar varnish twice. Each coat of that is equal to around 30 coats of poly. It hoses off great to a shiny new plate each feeding.

I really like it, keeps the food source clean and avoids any sand intake while eating. Fantastic idea, i might copy your idea, only on a bigger scale.....lol!

I made a concrete one a few years ago with colored concrete and sealed it when done. Worked just as good and actually looked like a large stump. Unfortunetly I am not in the crete business and it only lasted two years before falling part. I am sure if done correctly it would last forever. Just make sure the finish is really smooth and sealed. also make sure its slightly convex as not to hold water in center

All your torts are amazing.

The feeding plate also looks cool. Is it safe to coat the concrete with poly since it's for the feeding plate?
