I rearranged Killer's enclosure yesterday and added a spider plant.

This is what he did to it today.

Running from scene of the crime.

Pooped from total destruction.

Another angle from crime scene.

Doesn't take a seasoned detective to figure out what happened here. Numerous bite marks on limbs and plant has been dismembered.

I think a proper punishment for his crime is some spring mix and mazuri with cilantro.

Suspect is behind bars.

I don't think he liked it much. He is cute though

Either he didn't like it or he loves it too much. But I think you're right. Looks like he keeps tasting it and saying "nah, I don't like it".

oh my goodness, hard to stay mad at such a cute little tort!

Not mad one little bit. I'm still in the "everything he does is cute" phase.

Not too much left. It was so pretty. And he sleeps next to it all day and night too. But there's nothing left to hide under. Must buy more.

My Marginated Tortoise ate the spider plan I placed in his enclosure within few hours. I mean, nothing left. can't even tell there was something green there before......LOL......

You have a very nice looking Russian there. Love it.

I removed the plant when there was nothing but nubs left. He didn't even eat it. Just tore it apart. Let's see if it grows back.

And thanks. He keeps me entertained. I love my little guy.

You should see what four baby leopards do to an aloe vera plant! It was ugly and there was green aloe blood everywhere! The worst part is they ate them one at a time forcing the other plants to wittness their own eventual fate.

Oh how cruel, the inhumanity of it all. Kind of like a scene from "Silence of the Aloe Plant". "It puts the lotion on or it gets the hose". OK, may be it is just me that is that demented to even think somethink like it. At least my CDT had the decency of eating all of the daisy plants, down to the stump/ground, all at once.
