I put this in my inside tortoise table but I think I'm allergic to it every time I go to the room where my tortoise is I become very itchy. My tortoise table is 5 by 6 ft is there anything else I could use that is reasonable that will hold moisture for my Russian tortoise.

There is something called Coco coir which is very good for tortoises I have just ordered some for my leopard tortoise as it helps keep keep the moisture

Coco coir is definatly the way to go, and its really cheap!

Coco coir It holds moisture very well, is digestible, and looks really nice. Some people like to bake/boil it before use.
