We had a low pressure system move through our area over the past couple of days, but the sun is out in full force today. I came home for lunch and found my leopard adults huddled in the warmest corner of the yard. Three females in front and the male in the back is enjoying the view.

You have a very nice-looking group? murder? herd ? clan? oh yeah. . . I remember - creep of tortoises, Neal That's what my Russians do. They line up next to the fence and sometimes even put a front and back leg up on the fence to get in a batter angle to catch the rays.

Do you get many eggs from the bunch?

I'm not sure how many are in the ground, but probably around 120 this year. The middle and left-most female are relatively new to me and they are not quite fully established breeders, so I would expect the number of eggs to be higher next year. The left-most one laid 18 in one clutch, that's a new record for me!
