Can someone tell me why some forums have a grey dot and others a green dot like in the picture.



Others don't have a dot at all, like the forum for North American Tortoise (genus Gopherus)

Green dot means there are new posts. Grey means there are no new posts. Click the dot to turn the green dot grey (mark posts read).

The dots are for the sub forums - the main forums have the turtle to the left. The same rules that apply to the dots apply to the turtle.
