He has a little white dot of paint on his rear, what would be safe to use to remove this? I tried rubbing it and lightly scraping with my fingernail but it didn't come off at all.

leaves on the wild vine
I have noticed that with the sudans. Once I brought them a bunch of wild vine instead of a few limbs (my grandmother wanted it cut out one her hedges so I had the whole plant) and they checked it out but left it alone, a couple days later I noticed it was bare, not a leaf left on it. I'm not real sure what the burr things are that get on the underneath of the leaves, if their harmless or not so I haven't offered them any of the wild vine in a while, just the ones I planted.~ One thing i can share that we are unsure why, however sometimes they ignore them when they are fresh and prefer to eat them after they turn brownish and are dried out!
He is active // He is gaining weight at a rather steady pace and growing about a 1/4" a month.
Photos? We love photos!Well the weekly updates are somewhat behind. I've been busy getting prepared for the winter months we getting ready to have. Lots to do as always!! I have been doing weekly measurements tho and Jessee is doing very well. He is active and eats like a horse. He is still very shy, completely freezing up if he thinks your looking at him and will run off if he even thinks your going to touch him. I do attempt to hand fed him since this is what I e done in the past to get them use to me but he still ain't going for it, he will run off and leave the food for later when im not around. He has really come to enjoy his soaks, he will relax and soak for just as long as his water is warm. He is gaining weight at a rather steady pace and growing about a 1/4" a month. This past Friday he weighted in at 579 grams/1.28# and measures 51/8".

Hello! I am so jealous of your beautiful baby! I was hoping anyone reading this thread could point me in the direction of a reputable Aldabra breeder. It seems most everyone is sold out!? This includes Aldabraman. I have looked at some of the young ones at Florida Iguana, but all seem to be imports with split scutes. I have worked all summer to set up a closed chamber and an outdoor enclosure. Im just waiting to put a new baby Aldab in it! Please help if you know of anyone!
