That's good exercise for her stunted little legs. It now looks to me as if the legs are a little deformed from the elbow up. It's very good for her to stretch and work like that.

Well I know Gladys' legs are but Itty Bitty looks fine to me.

very determined stretching as far as possible

What would make you think that??? Her/his legs are perfect. That tort can climb and run pretty fast! Nothing wrong with its legs at all!

I'm sorry! I thought when you first got Itty Bitty it wouldn't use its front legs, just pushed itself around with the back legs. Wrong tortoise??

Its ok. Yeah its the other small one we have called Gladys. And you're right, that's how Gladys gets around... By pushing off in its back legs and scooting on its belly. I can't help but feel sorry for it. We have to pretty much pick her up and place her to where the food is and also the water. But she is trying though. Poor thing
