It's time for the common "cold"

Tonight I am starting to feel a cold coming on. Could torty catch this if a person in the house gets it?

I assume treat him like a person ~ stay away, wash hands EVEN MORE, and by all means don't sneeze on the poor dude!! But is there anything to watch for? Any preventative measures to take?

When we have a cold it's a viral infection. When a tortoise gets a runny nose it's a bacterial infection. So no, your tortoise can't catch your cold no matter how many times you sneeze on him.
