On may 11(Mother's Day) my largest female Russian laid eggs. This is the first time I have ever gotten eggs from any Russians so I'm excited. My main concern is that one egg is really small. Also one has started to chalk over but the other big one hasn't. Even the little one has a small 'whiter' circle on it. Does that mean just that one is viable?
On May 14, one of my sulcata eggs pipped(I have never had any sulcata hatchlings, just one redfoot). For the days following, 12 baby tortoises have hatched and come out, with no abnormalities. The first one pipped on day 87. They are all active and most are eating.
Anyways, Great week!
