Is this yearling starting to get marbled ?

I've had several youngters before, but none of them has ever been "really" marbled on the carapace.

As they are all Cherries, the plastron is often beautifully marbled, but the adults does hardly show any on the carapace.

Here is however one of my yearlings, starting to show some kind of beginning of marble on the carapace ?

What you think ???

Looks like it to me :) Deeper down than new growth lines you may get a white one there.... :)

Looks deeper/wider than just "new growth" ......Here are some other examples of " young marbles " who started out much like your little guy .....
