Is this bermuda grass seed ok ?

hi I recently got some bermuda grass seed from lowes and i was wondering if it was ok

I would keep the tortoise off the area until all the coating on the seeds has been washed off and the grass is growing well.

I would not use seeds from a hardware store. They put all sorts of things in them because they are not intended for consumption. What do the ingredients say?

It is coated to help the seeds germinate faster.

I have the very same bag of seeds for my yard/Sulcata. How did your lawn come out? Was it fine for your Sulcata to graze on?

i have a CA desert tortoise but there diet is similar and it turned out fantastic he loves it ! and yes it is fine for him the coating comes off with regular watering.
