Yes, not sure exactly what kind, could be cucumber, or gourds. But definitely in that family. The blooms make great tortoise snacks.

Looks like you have plenty of others popping out now too.

Melon or gourd, I think. Is this just a plant in your yard or did you hunt around for it? Just hoping to narrow it down.

All of them look alike when they are young. Melons,Cucumber,Squash, etc.
well at least for me.
The flowers are too small for it to be a squash, I think. They’re all edible, I just like to know what’s what. The only one of these native to my area is a rather foreboding plant known as “stink gourd;” it lives up to the name!
