Is this a good Russian tortoise tank for life.

Nope... an adult russian needs a 4'x8' enclosure at a minimum. Tortoise tables don't really work for any tortoise as baby should be in a closed chamber and its too small for an adult.

Russian like to dig as well so you need something you can put a good depth of substrate in.
Consider something like the Lifetime raised garden bed kits or similar which you can add to and extend as your tort grows.

Nope. It would work for a hatchling but you may only get about a year out of it before you need something bigger. Those screen tops also aren't good for keeping in humidity. I have something similar for my hatchling Marginated and I've put plexiglass on top of the screen to keep the humidity in. It works but you'd be better off buying or making a fully closed chamber made of PVC, or plywood coated with countertop paint or pond sealer if you're looking for something for life.
