Is my Hermanns Eastern or Dalmatian?

Hello again. So I have a 2.5 year old 5in. Male Hermanns I adopted a few weeks ago, Blue. I was told he was an Eastern, from a “breeder off Facebook in 2015”. I’ve researched for years about these tortoises and I’m very familiar with the diff subspecies and their differences. I guess that’s why I am here. I posted blue once before here and was told he’s Eastern but something isn’t sitting right with me. He just doesn’t look like many Easterns I see online. He favors a Dalmatian to me. I know some don’t acknowledge Dalmatians as a sub but more a “local” under Easterns. But this is driving me insane. He’s so beautiful and I want to be 100% on what he is exactly. HermaniChris If your ever see this, could you tell me your thoughts? Or anyone? Thanks so much. Based on my research here are some examples I’ve found from Chris. What is blue?
