So i got 2 babie sulcatas. 1 looks perfect. The other looks to me like his shell may have been damaged in shipping. If so, should i be doing something extra for him?
Sorry, my phone is being a pain...
I didnt think to take the pics before i sprayed so its hard to see what i am talking about. On this one the joints are all miss shaped and are grayish when its dry. The others is all smooth and brown and pretty..
Hey John, they both look great to me! I think what you are referring to is the new growth. Torts will also grow at different rates, hence why they are different.
Ok that's better, yes it just looks like the one (with gray spots) is simply growing faster than the other one. Still looks healthy to me. Make sure you keep up with the calcium and UV rays as they are growing.
Sweet.. just making sure.. he is less active and eats less.. i know thats normal personality stuff.. im just paranoid cause they are my first lil babies. I have them under a zoomed mvb and give calcium powder once a week.. is that what im supposed to do? They can't have outside time yet.. we got snow last night
No problem at all, you're not alone. Many first time owners have the same concerns. I give mine calcium twice a week. Ya I had the same storm come through that you did. It was really cold for a couple of days but luckily things are back to normal here!
