There is a feed store not far from my house that sells bails of hay for as little as $11.00. Pretty cheap!
I only use hay for bedding in my night boxes and dog houses. Not for food and I've never seen a Redfoot try to eat it, either.
My question is: Before I buy a bale or two and have my tiny one car garage full of it and four motorcycles covered in its dust, have I overlooked anything? Is it all safe? Can some types irritate or be dangerous?
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that all grass hays are fine. I generally buy a bale of orchard grass hay. I like the orchard grass because it is soft blades rather than hard stems.
