Hello to everyone, just registered at forum ;-)
I live in Thailand with my small sulcata who seems to like a lot local pak boon (Ipomoea aquatic). Is it ok for tortoise diet and good source of nutrients?
Thanks a lot for your help or re-direction to previous forum's discussion;-)
Bye

I found a little nutrition information about Ipomoea aquatica (pak boon) (water spinach) (kang kong).

"Kang kong is high in carotenoids, including lutein and pro-vitamin A. It contains significant amounts of calcium and iron. Eaten in large quantities, kang kong can act as a mild laxative."

Sounds like it would be great as part of the diet, along with other greens.
Thanks for posing the question. I'm growing Ipomoeas for the first time this year and while I knew they were edible I haven't looked into the nutrition in them.
