Indoor plants and tortoise

I have my hermanns tortoise in my bedroom, and I also have a small collection of indoor plants I'm my room too. Would any pests or insects like mealybugs affect my tortoises health or would they stay on the plants and not go near her? I have edible plants in her table too.

Bugs in you houseplants will also get into the other plants and the warm enclosure. Not to worry. The bugs are harmless detrivores.

I would imagine any insect that eats plants, would not harm your tortoise.
