Nice photos Len.
What is the average full grown length of this tort?
I just purchased a couple of year old Mees in October .
Never heard of an impressed B4.
My mees never get under the heat emmiter,
The prefer laying in their water dish on the cool end all day long.
I had a half log hide in my 40 breeder tank but they never went in it .
They just climbed on top of it.
They are definatly different than my 4 red-foots .

From everything I read The average length is around 12 inches,I saw your post when you got yours, nice youngsters, I think you will enjoy raising them. I don't use extra heat from above on any of my manouria, all heat is from below, but mostly room temps are all that they need.I never use uvb lighting any more, tried it years ago and no matter how I set it up it would effect their eyes.other people seem to use it without problems. The water dish soaking will probably never go away that's normal no matter how big they get.As for the hides I have noticed over the years that they prefer to nuzzle into a corner, or under something, so I use short hides, like flower pots on their side filled at least 3/4 full so when they go in there is not a lot overhead room, they like to squeeze into tight places.And yes I agree they are different.
