He must have something gastric going on as this morning he was hesitant to eat breakfast. Dinner time was no problem though. I hope whatever has gassed him up clears up soon!
As long as he is "passing" it, it'll get better. Try giving him some plain yogurt, just a dolop in the morning and before bed. The probiotics help. Is his tummy gurgling?
I feel your pain with the gas ... it doesnt happen often but mine can sometimes clear a room.
There is another product called "Forti-Flora". Its made by the veterinary end of Purina products. Its a pro-biotic and it works wonders at keeping dog and cat intestinal tracts healthy. You can get it through your vet. I won't travel my dogs without it ever again. It clears up the runs over night.
My dog never used to be gassy, but since he's had cancer he does all the time. I imagine a good portion of that has to do with all the changes we've had to make to his diet, testing what he will eat after the chemo. Funny thing is, he usually startles himself more than anyone else.
