Found an add on craigslist. Said they had a Greek tort, 6 in long. Approx 3 yrs old. Were calling it "him", with the SCL, I am thinking female.

Here are some pics:

Can someone (Danny :p ) do subspecies for me? I'd love a few opinions about sex too!

Thanks!

Looks like an Eastern Hermanns to me, but the picture is dark. I will guess male.

Ok, I looked more closely on a real computer, not my iPhone, and it is too yellow for a Hermanns. Perhaps an Ibera. I am going to have to defer this one to Danny!! :D

It's a Greek and a male Meg :D I'd need a full plastron picture to tell subspecies.

I'm gonna see about the plasteron shot. It was hard to get the two I did. He had to take them with his camera, text them to Reid, and Reid had to email them to my account, and then I had to save them to file, and then upload to photobucket, and then post them here!

But it would be worth it to know what kind he is! Are you positive its a male? Is that a clue to subspecies? Because Nigel is only like 5 1/4 inches, and I thought some subspecies stayed small as males....

Male T.g.ibera can get very big Meg :) 7" to 12" depending on which region they are from.
On second look it could be a female :p That angle isn't good. A straight on full plastron picture would be great.
I'm thinking either T.g.ibera or T.g.antakyensis.

lol! Would anyone here be interested in it? I feel bad for it....The guy got a divorce and literally told me that he's selling it so he can buy groceries to feed himself. I was totally hoping that it would be a Jordan but what were the odds of that?

I was thinking lady myself too! :p I emailed and asked for another pic. Will post it when I get it!

It's a young male Meg :D and looks to be between 4 and 5 inches, not 6.
It's also most likely a T.g.antakyensis.
