Our Little Torts.. who we thought was one female and male...
Turns out to be Hot blooded MALES!
We found out one day when they were soaking... and we were a bit concerned when one "flashed" us. We thought it was his anus.. and was frantically trying to figure out if anything was wrong.
He was just a bit over a year old. We know it's birthdate as it was hatched from its breeder. October 2011.
We hoped the second one would be a Female... But Spartacus showed us his "stuff" a couple of months after.
Now they enjoy "flashing" about whenever they have a soak.
Someone told us that it's surprising that they showed off so early. Anyone had such early experiences ?
