ID of a tortoise

Hi all,

I found a thread for ID of this tort on another forum.
"Can anyone ID this tortoise? ... she was a childhood pet bought around 1968 .. she grew to about 14lbs ..so quite big, This is the only photo I have, she is now in a tortoise sanctuary after my parents passed away"

What species is it in your opinion? For me looks like elongated tortoise.

Oh wow. It looks so different. I love the coloration on the shell. I'm going to make an edit to our wrong posts above so as to not confuse future readers of the thread.
