Hello everyone!

Last Wednesday I got my first tortoise from a breeder, but I forgot to ask the subspecies. Could you help me out?

It should be a female and she is from 2014. How does she look to you? :)

Adorable!:) And looks nice and healthy. I too have a feeling it's a female, but I'm not sure: am not a tort expert. It looks - repeat - looks like a Greek tort (mine is a Greek tort too). Do not take my words for granted, ok?

Please read the "Beginners Mistake Thread" and different care sheets, so as to take good care of your cute tort. And do not hesitate to ask any question.

And a very warm welcome to the forum! :tort:

Thank you everyone! She's a lot more active than I could have imagined :) Running around and digging up the entire place.

Welcome. You have an Eastern Hermann's tortoise (Testudo hermanni boettgeri) for certain. :)
