I had humpback flies kill a hatchling. Someone told me what they used in their incubator was a small gecko or a small frog.
I put a narrow-mouth frog/toad in my incubator and it is eating the flies and at one inch it can not hurt eggs or hatchlings it is getting chubby on flies. I just hatched out two Eastern mud turtles.

This is a pretty good idea. I have lots of tree frogs around my house, maybe I can catch one of them for the incubator.

That's actually a really, really interesting idea….Anyone ever tried this with Manouria?
