my Leopard currently lives indoors but I am moving to Central Florida. I keep seeing conflicting info. Some say humid air others say arid. Will it be ok for her to live outside is Florida humidity?

Florida is is great climate for torts. Humid and warm. What size is your tortoise? Who or where is it saying arid? I have raised six Leos from hatchling and the humidity has helped there shells grow smooth and uniform.

Humidity is very good for them IF IF IF you keep them warm. If they get cold with high humidity, they can get sick.

You will need a heated night box for them, like one of these:

Unlike me in my climate, you will not need to add the tubs of water to keep humidity up. Just the opposite, your night box with be a warm dry retreat from the elements.
