How to send personal message???

Computer Neanderthal needs remedial lesson...

I CANNOT figure out how to initiate personal/private messages here...

It is now called conversation. If you click on your user name at the top right, your profile page should drop down. In the right column you should see where it says conversation. Click that.

Or, up in the right hand corner, scroll your mouse over "inbox" and a drop down window appears. Then click "start a conversation."

Haha, see, I didn't even know about that one. It is harder to see though, it's way down on the bottom, but if you have no convo's going yet, I guess it's not quite so far down

Yeah, I don't like that long list of conversations, so after I post my reply to a conversation I click on "leave the conversation" That removes them all from the list, but the person you're conversing with can still send back a message.
