How to get your tortoise to eat their grass

Make tortoise tacos! I used a collard green leaf (a smaller one from the inside of the head) and put some wheat grass I cut up into small pieces [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]


And since he was a good boy and ate his veggies, he got some dessert:


Prickly pear cactus fruit! [CACTUS]

He and his clutch mate I have were both started VERY dry, and I unknowingly did not take the best care of them for the first few months I had them. I am very proud after all of my hard work improving their diets and living conditions that their new growth is coming in smooth! [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH][TURTLE]

That's exactly what I did for a while! Totally spoiled him hand feeding him all the time haha

That's what I have to do sometimes. Chop it up small and mix it with greens. I'm going to try growing small platters of grass for my new sulcata that I'm getting, especially when everyone else goes outside in this spring/summer.

I know! I own the seasons and watched them at lest 10 times on netflix. Idk why they cancelled it! He didn't finish his list!!!!!
