Sorry for all the questions, I am a worry wart
I added more coco coir to my tort's table yesterday, and in doing so I accidentally added too much water to the substrate. It is too wet, and I am worried he will develop shell rot. So my question is would he be able to develop shell rot in the 1-3 days it takes for the substrate to dry out? It is an open top enclosure since he is an adult, and we have a PowerSun UV bulb at one end so it should dry up soon.
He seems to be his normal self, digging, eating, and sleepingas he always does.
