Hi Abbie:

There's no way for us to know how old your tortoise is. The only way to know is to find out the hatch date from the breeder. The tortoise looks to be a couple years old - maybe.

The new growth looks to be coming in very nicely. I would guess between 1 & 3 years depending on the previous husbandry

Mine's coming up on 18 months and is a little smaller than yours, so I'd guess at somewhere in the 18mth-2yr range. As Yvonne said, though, the only way to be 100% sure is to ask the breeder you got him from.
