Hi all,

I have 3 male sulcatas who use to be in one enclosure but became somewhat aggressive with their raming behavior requiring me to separate them -this was 3 years ago in a 1/8 acre enclosure.

I’ve since bought 22 acres and would like to find a way to house them together once more. Does anyone have a good idea of how much space males need in order to cohabitate and not become aggressive?

My boys are of various sizes but all around 100lbs now +/- 20 lbs.

Thanks!

100 square miles will not be enough. They will march until they find each other and then fight to the death.

You can't keep three males together. No way, no how.

The only exception I have seen to this is when there are at least two or three dozen males and females in enclosures that are larger than an acre, and the animals were house well enough to survive, but not thrive. Even then a few had to be separated of to the sides. When you keep them hydrated, properly warm, and well fed, healthy in other words, they are not going to cohabitate.
