how long till he eats

i got my turtle today and he he wont eat plus i dont think he has ate in a day or two the way the last owner was talking do you guys think it will take him awhile to get use to it and eat because i really would like for hime to eat any suggestions plus i put a plate full of food for him to eat but he doesnt want to eat so yea any suggestions like to know if its all the new stuff that going on or what but yea please need a answer

let him settle.. dont pester.. make sure he has hides to feel safe,, and what food are you offering? is it what he was used to eating? do you know his faves? Make sure he is hydrated... then offer food..

im offering the sam thing plus also other food and i got a tub for him to drink and sit in ok thanks ill tell you guys later how is doing
