The top is humidity and the bottom is heat. I need a way to turn off the heat at 80 but she has a giant mound of sphagnum moss to burrow into if she needs to cool downView attachment 146027the numbers are
99.7% humidity
88.7 °F
Mvb?What is the basking temp? 88 is a,little high in my opinion for an over all temp. I would try to get it down, to 80/85, even if it's just a section of it, but with a basking area of 95-100. The humidity is good. I have leopards not sulcata but the care is the same. Putting your heating elements on a thermostat will help to regulate and hold temps, however a mvb can not be put on one.
Basking is 103What are your other temps in the enclosure? Basking, cool end and night?
Thanks!! Lil zillas shell has being growing in very smooth for about 2 months now. But some scutes just wont stop going upI use this temp controller and its on Amazon for a reasonable price. Took me a while to get my temps right. You'll get there.

With the humidity as high as it is, I would not let the temp get below 80 at anytime. If you can drop the cool end to the low 80's that should be fine. My enclosure goes no lower than 82 at night because I have very high humidity like you.Basking is 103
Cool 86 (i need to cool it down somehow, but she has a pile of sphagnum moss that i put a small ice cube in and it keeps the temps down to about 74-79.
At night it stays 75 all the way around (my top to my tank isnt the tightest fit) lil z usually sleeps on a rock that heated up under the basking light or in her moss pile
Okay. Is 86 all around okay? She has cooler spots in the tank but she doesnt like them. She prefers to be warmer and rarely leaves the heat lamp. She basks right under it then moves a little then falls asleepWith the humidity as high as it is, I would not let the temp get below 80 at anytime. 86 for an ambient air temp during the day should be fine. If she is sleeping under the light then other areas of the enclosure are likely too cool. Do you have more than one thermometer? I use several in my enclosure: one in each hide (probe style), one just under the surface of the substrate under the basking light (probe style), then two similar to the style you have in the corners opposite each hide. Also, do you have a temp gun to do spot checks?Okay. Is 86 all around okay? She has cooler spots in the tank but she doesnt like them. She prefers to be warmer and rarely leaves the heat lamp. Not a temp gun as of yet. I had a probe style for thermometer and it read 103 under the heat lamp and 82 in her coolest spot. Ill stop doing the ice cubes and let that temp even up86 for an ambient air temp during the day should be fine. Sounds good!
Row lines? My sulcata is like yours. She likes to sleep under the heat lamp but explores other areas of the tank. Her other areas are around the lower 80s while the hot end is in the upper 80s sometimes lower 90s but then I dim the basking light to even out the temp. Humidity in my tank averages between 76-83 so I'm trying hard to keep it steady but it's difficultshe doesn't have any row lines yet so I'm not sure how I'm doing in that department
Grow lines sorryRow lines?
